Kristi House is pleased to salute Sister Jeanne and the Florida Women of Achievement (FWA). On Tuesday, May 19 at Miracle Theater in Coral Gables FWA will debut The Power Nun, which tells the amazing story of the educator, humanitarian, and unstoppable force that is Sister Jeanne.

The first in FWA’s Portraits of Inspiration series, the film follows Sister Jeanne as she breaks down doors into exclusively all-male boardrooms during the Women’s Movement. The showing will be Tuesday, May 19th, 2015 at 7:00 PM at The Miracle Theatre in Coral Gables, featuring guest of honor Sister Jeanne O’Laughlin herself.

FWA educates, empowers and inspires current and potential women in leadership by teaching leadership skills, presenting a timeless archive of leadership success, presenting role models, building intergenerational and intercultural awareness, and recognizing women in role-model programs.

Their film series, Portraits of Inspiration, celebrates the lives and times of Florida’s exceptional leaders. Started in 1992, FWA’s photographic exhibitions and educational programs shine a light on Florida’s diverse history-making role models. Now, Portraits of Inspiration brings these powerful women to life through the big screen and electronic media to educate, inspire, and empower future generations.
