Corporate Spotlight: Kristi House Salutes its Long-standing Partner, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.

One of our founding corporate supporters, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (RCL), has made a big impact on our organization, and the thousands of children and families we’ve served through the years. Our multifaceted partnership has helped to sustain and grow important therapy programs, community education initiatives and children’s advocacy services. In short, the leading cruise line has been our rock.

We’ve collaborated on a wide range of activities – some fun, some more serious, but always unique and meaningful. For example, together we created and delivered “The Route Ends Here,” an educational program for RCL professionals to better identify and respond to child sex trafficking. Kristi House has hosted fundraising events aboard mega-liners, where 100 percent of the proceeds benefitted our organization. We recently toured the glorious Mariner of the Seas with our Project GOLD girls, which for most, was their first time aboard a cruise ship. RCL’s Global Security Team came together to deliver 200 fully stocked backpacks for our back-to-school drive for Kristi House kids.

Since the beginning, Royal Caribbean has dedicated an executive to our board of directors. From Adam Goldstein, RCL’s Vice Chairman who played a pivotal role as a Kristi House founding board member, to current board member Jennifer Love, Security Chief and Senior Vice President for Safety, Security, Environment, and Medical/Public Health, RCL has always had a seat at the table. In this capacity, the global cruise vacation giant has helped with governance, fundraising and so much more.

This past year, Jennifer Love spoke at our annual Breaking the Silence Luncheon. She spoke from the heart, and shared her dedication to protecting children’s innocence. According to Love, “The brave boys and girls receiving services at Kristi House and the remaining children who are still suffering in silence inspire me to take my commitment to a whole new level. I will do what is in my power to support this great organization.”

Thank you RCL, for your leadership on this great voyage!
