Despite the very challenging times we find ourselves in, Kristi House has continued to provide services to children and their families remotely during the pandemic without interruption. We have found that the struggles of families who were already facing socio-economic stressors have been compounded by the pandemic.
We are striving, with the community’s generous help, to provide our families with both emotional healing and any extra support we can give.
That’s why this holiday season is perhaps more important than ever to hundreds of children in our care. While we cannot have a big tent and party in the parking lot or our Winter Wonderland in the boardroom, we are planning to distribute gifts and pantry items in a safe, drive-through format to our families.
