This lived-experience-informed training brings the often overlooked commercial sexual exploitation of male-identifying youth to the forefront and equips stakeholders to measurably respond in culturally responsive ways.
Training content includes human trafficking as a pandemic of violence; a screening of the BOYS documentary; a snapshot of prevalence research; current gaps, challenges and successes to prevention; societal, community, family and individual risk and vulnerability; models of trafficking experienced by males; culturally responsive identification and response; implicit gender and racial bias; action steps moving forward.
Certificates of attendance will be provided.
