Coronavirus Updates
Kristi House is committed to doing everything we can to keep children and families safe, especially during the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Kristi House Children’s Advocacy Center is open to clients on a limited basis. We are continually ensuring we have the personal protective supplies needed for staff and clients, and protocols in place for safe operations with our partner organizations co-located at the Center, including the State Attorney’s Office, Child Protection Team and Guardian Ad Litem. We continue to provide services to current and new clients via telehealth, and look forward to a gradual return of normal operations.  For any urgent concerns, please contact  (305) 547-6800.

Reporting Abuse During COVID-19:

With schools, many daycares and most extra-curricular activities being closed due to COVID-19, we need you now more than ever to help keep our children safe. As Floridians, we all have the responsibility to report any suspicion or knowledge of abuse or neglect (39.201 F.S.). By making a report, you are not only ensuring the child’s safety, you are also providing help and support to the family.

You may be the only person to act. If something does not look safe, sound safe, or feel safe – Report.

How to Report Abuse
Be prepared to provide specific descriptions of the incident(s) or the circumstances contributing to the risk of harm.
