The 2024 International Conference on Violence against Men and Boys is a groundbreaking educational and capacity-building event designed to address the often-overlooked issue of violence against men and boys. The Conference was created to serve as a transformative public health intervention to prevent violence against men and boys. Expert speakers from private and governmental public health organizations, academia, healthcare, criminal justice and lived experiences will convene to
gain knowledge and devise lever-pulling health equity strategies to reduce the profound harm caused by gender violence.
Through a heightened awareness of the scope of violence and trauma experienced by males, attendees will explore the structural determinants of numerous types of violence and its related impact on mental and physical health, educational attainment, criminal justice involvement, revictimization, later perpetration, financial stability, and public safety.
