On the basis of OSCE commitments and in line with its mandate to assist participating States in the implementation of their human dimension commitments, the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) launches the ISTAC. The ISTAC consists of 21 members, who are survivor leaders of trafficking, with due attention to diversity in terms of expertise, gender and geographical location. Its purpose is to assist ODIHR, the OSCE and its participating States in combatting trafficking in human beings.
