Since 1999 Kristi House has been providing therapy for sexually abused children. Our therapists work hard to ensure that these children and their families are able to process and overcome the sexual abuse trauma.  It is sometimes challenging getting the children to come into every session due to school, parents work schedule, or even transportation; yet the therapists make all the possible arrangements so that their clients can complete treatment and graduate.

US Storage Centers recently got in touch with us and wanted to do something very special for the children we serve. One of the biggest and constant needs we have is for graduation gifts for our teen clients. We understand all the adjustments that it takes to complete treatment so as part of graduation the clients are given a celebration along with a small gift; however, most of the donations we receive are toys for children below the age of 8.

By helping even from afar, a generous gift from US Storage Centers’ North Miami facility will go directly to 20 graduating Kristi House teenage clients. These are teens who have worked diligently with our therapists in their Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy program to overcome their pasts’ and thrive. Overcoming child sexual abuse is no small feat, but with the support of Kristi House and generous supporters like US Storage Centers, our children prevail.
